Understanding the World of the Anxious Child and Adolescent

Jim Hall
As part of the values of the Rouge Valley Health System Foundation, we strive to strengthen the connection between health needs and resources in our community. With that guidance, we are proud to help facilitate two free workshops sponsored by RBC, on the topic of 'Understanding the World of the Anxious Child and Adolescent'.

The workshops are for Parents and Teachers and are presented by Jim Hall of the Shoniker Clinic, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Clinic.

The first workshop was held Feb. 25 in Ajax and was well attended by the community. If you missed this opportunity, plan to attend the second workshop on Saturday, March 24 between 10 am and 3 pm in the Dr. Bruce Johnston Conference Room - 3rd Floor at Rouge Valley Centenary hospital. The hospital is located at 2867 Ellesmere Road (corner of Neilson and Ellesmere) in Scarborough. Parking is provided. Call to register at 416-281-7462 or email foundation@rougevalley.ca.

RBC sponsors the workshops through it's commitment to the RBC Children's Mental Health Project. RBC Children’s Mental Health Project has provided more than $8.2 million since 2009 to organizations dedicated to providing early intervention, increasing public awareness and reducing the stigma of mental illness.
