Rouge Valley Centenary Volunteer Services come through, again!

Dr. Ram Vijayaraghavan, co-chair of the Heart of it All campaign, receives the cheque from Ed Banks, Volunteer Services Financial Officer at Rouge Valley Centenary hospital.

The Foundation is pleased to share some wonderful news. The Rouge Valley Centenary hospital volunteers are the lead donor for a portable echocardiogram machine dedicated to the Centenary site.

In partnership with the Foundation, they will provide the majority of the funding for this portable echo and they presented a $40,000 gift to the Heart of It All campaign March 23, received by campaign co-chair Dr. Ram Vijayaraghavan.

In addition to this wonderful gift, the Foundation also received (from the Volunteers) a gift of $20,000 to fund three electric patient beds for RVC's Children's program.

This remarkable group of volunteers dedicate their time to enhancing patient care by assisting in patient areas and by fundraising throughout the year in support of Rouge Valley Centenary's equipment needs.  Through their annual bazaar, book and clothing sales, raffles, and H.E.L.P.P. Lottery, they have been one of the Foundation's most generous donors.
