Last night was another major milestone for the Image is Everything Campaign as the Pickering Legion presented an amazing $10,000 to our community committee.Sherry Robinson and Louise Farr Chambers from the Image is Everything Campaign Community Committee made the special trip to the Feb. 23 event where they were presented with a $10,000 cheque from the Royal Canadian Legion #606 Pickering Branch's Poppy Fundraising Activities.
The Image is Everything Campaign is raising funds to bring an MRI to our community so that our families, friends and neighbours can be cared for close to home. The commitment of this local service club to the hospital shows the strength of the community, and how together we can make great things happen!
