Volunteers were in the audience giving moral support to Image is Everything campaign members as they presented at Durham Regional Council on May 25.
Making a request for $1.5 million in the 2012 budget, to support both the IIE campaign and the Cardiac program at Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering hospital, Drs Romas Stas, Mark Prieditis and Joe Ricci received support from council members.
The request is now in the hands of regional staff to be evaluated and follow the next steps in procedure for the 2012 Durham budget. Learn more about the campaign to bring an MRI to Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering hospital at www.rougeMRI.ca.
