April showers bring May flowers. That's what we are counting on here at the Foundation this month as May arrives, and with it a very special event for the Buy a Bed campaign.
Campaign volunteers braved cool temperatures and a little rain, but still had an amazing time at Albert Campbell Square in Scarborough, in the shadow of the Scarborough Town Centre, teamed up with Centennial College's hospitality program to celebrate the campaign, using the Royal Wedding as our theme. Important to note is that we are now just mere weeks away from the first ever Corporate Bed Race at Scarborough Town Centre, happening on Friday, May 27.
The Foundation is very excited to partner with the Town Centre for this event and race day is going to be a great time for everyone involved. It will be run on Borough Drive from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and spots are filling up fast, so act quickly, because there is only room for 16 teams. Visit buyabed.ca to get involved.
