Two members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 614 paid a special visit to Rouge Valley Centenary hospital on June 3 to bring support to the Rouge Valley Health System Foundation Heart of it All campaign.
Branch 614 in Scarborough dedicated $4,000 from its Poppy Fund to the campaign, to purchase new echocardiogram machines for the Cardiac Diagnostic Units of the RVHS hospital system.
Accepting the cheque was campaign co-chair Dr. Ram Vijayaraghavan with cardiac staff and campaign committee members Sue Andrew and Wendy Nagy (behind) and Foundation Vice President Carole Chabot (right).
